A locked button remains displayed at the same position even when switching pages or scrolling,
allowing frequently used buttons to be fixed in place.
Locking destination buttons in advance is also useful when dragging and dropping items between pages,
as it eliminates the need to switch pages by hovering over tabs during the drag operation.

To lock a button, select
Lock This Button from the
Item Menu, or Ctrl + right-click the item button.

Buttons cannot be locked while the page is scrolled.

When a button is locked, buttons located at the same position or below it on other pages are shifted back one position.
When the lock is released, they return to their original positions.

The display position of a locked button does not change even when buttons are inserted or deleted.

Other buttons cannot be moved into the position occupied by a locked button.
